Who we are

Company Portraits is run by Joseph Carey, a sole trader based in Shropshire, United Kingdom. Joe is responsible for your information. You can contact him at [email protected] or on 07785 915025.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form, we receive your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to add: company, phone number, team size, location and your message. If you email or call, we receive whatever you share with us.

If you book a session, we take photographs of you and the people in your team.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out your session, and deliver your photographs. The law lets us do this because you have asked us to take steps towards working together, and because replying to business enquiries is in our legitimate interests. We will never add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.

Where it goes

The enquiry form sends your details straight to Joe's email inbox, which is provided by Google. The website and form run on Cloudflare, which also delivers the email. Nothing you type into the form is stored on the website. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else. Cloudflare and Google may handle data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK law requires.

This website

We count visitor numbers with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. This website does not use cookies or advertising trackers. Its fonts are hosted on this site, so no other company is involved in loading them. Cloudflare keeps basic technical records, such as your IP address and browser type, for a short time to keep the site secure.

To stop spam, the enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is being filled in by a person. Cloudflare says it does not use this check to track you or for advertising. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Photographs

Portraits are delivered to whoever booked the session, usually your employer. We keep our copies for one year after delivery, so we can resend files if needed, and then delete them.

We will only show your portrait in our portfolio, on this website or on social media if you have given us permission first. You can withdraw that permission at any time and we will stop using it.

How long we keep information

• Enquiries and emails: two years after our last contact, then deleted.
• Photographs: one year after delivery, then deleted, unless you have agreed to a portfolio use.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
